Kabilan a/l Anasalam v Veerasingam a/l Muthusamy & Metro Outsource Services Sdn Bhd

The Plaintiff, Kabilan a/l Anasalam, filed a civil suit against the Defendants, Veerasingam a/l Muthusamy and Metro Outsource Services Sdn Bhd, claiming RM2,774,715.08 as his share of profits from a contract secured with Heineken (M) Sdn Bhd. The Plaintiff alleged that the 1st Defendant promised him 50% of the profits after expenses. The Defendants denied the claim, stating no such agreement existed. The High Court of Malaya in Shah Alam ruled in favor of the Plaintiff, finding that an oral agreement existed and awarded RM824,730.32 as the Plaintiff's share of profits.
