Perbadanan Pengurusan CBD Perdana 1 v Anwar Yeo Abdullah

In the original suit, Perbadanan Pengurusan CBD Perdana 1 (PPCBD) sued Anwar Yeo Abdullah (AYA) for outstanding maintenance charges. AYA counterclaimed against Setia Haruman Sdn Bhd (SHSB) for damages due to late delivery of vacant possession. PPCBD withdrew its suit, leaving only the counterclaims between AYA and SHSB. The court found SHSB liable for withholding keys and awarded AYA RM86,100 for loss of rental income and RM858,350.08 in general damages. SHSB's counterclaim for RM52,238.74 was allowed but set off against AYA's award, resulting in SHSB owing AYA RM892,211.34.
