Cerdik Publications Sdn Bhd v Pejabat Agama Islam Johor & Kerajaan Negeri Johor

Cerdik Publications Sdn Bhd appealed the dismissal of its writ and statement of claim against Pejabat Agama Islam Johor and Kerajaan Negeri Johor. The High Court had struck out the claim on grounds of limitation and lack of reasonable cause of action. The court found the claim was time-barred under the Limitation Act 1953 and that the plaintiff's invoices were directed to MAGAD, not the defendants. The court upheld the dismissal with costs of RM5,000.
