Sarabjit Singh a/l Jernail Singh & Anor v Sukhdarshan Singh a/l Jaswant Singh & Ors

The plaintiffs, representing 45 Sikh devotees, filed a representative action against the defendants, members of the Gurdwara Sahib Mentakab management committee, seeking declaratory and injunctive relief under Articles 3 and 11 of the Federal Constitution and the Specific Relief Act 1950. The plaintiffs later applied to discontinue the action without costs, which was opposed by the defendants. The High Court allowed the discontinuance but ordered the plaintiffs to pay RM10,000 in costs to the defendants.
