Perigi Emas Resources (M) Sdn Bhd v International Islamic University Malaysia

The High Court of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur dismissed the plaintiff's claim in WA-22NCvC-662-10/2021 on 24 January 2024. The plaintiff, Perigi Emas Resources (M) Sdn Bhd, failed to attend court for case management and hearing of their counsel's application to discharge himself. The court found the plaintiff disinterested in pursuing the claim against the defendant, International Islamic University Malaysia, and dismissed the case with costs of RM5,000 under Order 34 of the Rules of Court 2012.
