Johandra Realty Sdn Bhd & Anor v Ketua Pengarah Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran Malaysia & Anor

Johandra Realty Sdn Bhd and Lee Hui Siang appealed against the High Court's decision on compensation for trespass by the Department of Irrigation and Drainage (D1) and the Malaysian Government (D3). The High Court had awarded damages for trespass on 20.5268 acres of land. The Court of Appeal modified the compensation, ordering D1 and D3 to either acquire the land or pay RM18,448,926.00 for restoration, RM730,897.60 for land value, RM3,181,654.00 for lost income, and RM400,000.00 as exemplary damages.
