Public Prosecutor v Chew Kien Hing

Chew Kien Hing was charged with possession of 8.71g of methamphetamine under Section 12(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. After initially pleading not guilty, the accused changed his plea to guilty on 13 December 2023. The court recorded a conviction and released the accused on a good behavior bond under Section 294 of the Criminal Procedure Code with RM4,000 bail and additional conditions.
