Koperasi Telekom Malaysia Berhad v. Mohd Danial Bin Mohd Rozali & 2 Others

Koperasi Telekom Malaysia Berhad (Plaintiff) filed a writ action against Mohd Danial Bin Mohd Rozali (First Defendant), Baharuddin Bin Abdul Latip (Second Defendant), and Zulmajdi Bin Omar (Third Defendant) for recovery of premiums paid for a non-existent insurance scheme. The High Court found the First Defendant liable for fraudulent misrepresentation but dismissed claims against the Second and Third Defendants. The Plaintiff was awarded RM 1,902,799.80 in damages.
