Pendakwa Raya lwn Muhammad Ammar bin Abdul Aziz

Muhammad Ammar bin Abdul Aziz appealed against his sentence for robbery with injury under Section 394 of the Penal Code. The incident occurred on 1 February 2024 at a 7-Eleven store in Johor Bahru, where he robbed RM200 and a Vivo Y77 phone while injuring the victim with a meat cleaver. The Sessions Court sentenced him to 8 years imprisonment and 3 strokes of the cane, effective from his arrest date of 5 March 2024.
